About

While reading Beyond Jabez by Bruce Wilkinson, this non-church going, lapsed Catholic, married to a Buddhist, spiritual being, decided she wanted access to the world of worship. Having recently visited both a Buddhist Temple in Tokyo and an Amish country town in North Western Montana, I realized I was hungry for a spiritual experience of my own. This Blog is a record of my quest to visit 52 Churches in 52 Weeks and explore the religious world all around me.

  1. Hi,

What a fascinating idea for a blog and a wonderful account of your visits through all these worship places! Thank you for creating and sharing this.

I am a curator at the Smithsonian Museums in Washington, DC and am interested in featuring one of your images in an upcoming exhibition I am developing, on Indian Americans. This is the image I am interested in: https://52churches52weeks.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/shoes-sikh-temple.jpg

Would you kindly grant the Smithsonian to use it (for non-commercial purposes only)? And do you happen to have a higher resolution version of it?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thank you,
    Ms. Masum Momaya
